What PAPERJAM knows about you

Very little. There is no account, no sign-up and no profile. The game works with the internet switched off. The only personal data involved is what the advertising in the free version needs, and you can switch that off two different ways.

01 Who we are

PAPERJAM is published by Eray Dinler ("we", "us"). If you have a question about anything on this page, write to eraydinler@gmail.com and a person will answer.

02 What stays on your device

Your progress — which departments you have cleared, your approval stamps, your Overtime record, your daily streak, which employees you have hired, your language and sound settings — is stored on your device only. We never receive it and it is deleted when you delete the app.

03 What is collected, and by whom

We do not run a server and we do not operate a database about you. Three Apple or Google services do the work, and each collects only what it needs:

ServiceWhat it involvesWhy
Google AdMob Advertising identifier, approximate device and ad interaction data To show and measure the ads in the free version
Apple Game Center Your Game Center nickname and the scores you post Leaderboards and achievements — optional
Apple App Store Your purchase of the Executive Pass To sell and restore it

We add no analytics, no crash reporting, no social login and no advertising network other than AdMob.

Advertising and tracking

The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. After your first run, iOS asks whether you allow tracking. If you say no, ads still appear but are not personalised, and the game plays exactly the same. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Google's own policy explains what they do with ad data: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Game Center

Leaderboards and achievements are handled entirely by Apple. If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores are posted under your Game Center nickname, which other players can see on the leaderboards. Signing in is optional and every part of the game works without it.

The short version

Buy the Executive Pass and the advertising stops permanently — no ads, no ad identifier, nothing collected for advertising. Skip Game Center and no score ever leaves your device. Do both and the game collects nothing at all.

04 Children

PAPERJAM is rated 4+ because it contains nothing objectionable, but it is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, write to us and we will help remove it.

05 Your rights

Because we hold no personal data ourselves, most requests are handled where the data actually lives:

If you are in the EEA, the UK, Türkiye, California or anywhere else with data protection law, you keep every right that law gives you. Write to us and we will do what it requires, including telling you exactly what we hold, which in almost every case is nothing.

06 Changes

If the app starts collecting something new, this page changes before that version ships, and the effective date above changes with it.
